Service Interruption due to flooding on the Beaumont Subdivision

May 09, 2019

Excessive rains have caused flooding in the south including areas on the Beaumont Subdivision resulting in a service interruption.

We have deployed crews to the field who are monitoring the situation firsthand.  The focus is currently on the following at-risk areas in Louisiana:

•           Loring (mp 625)
•           Many (mp 633)
•           Fisher (mp 638)
•           Anacoco (mp 658)

We believe that we will be able to reopen the line this evening but please expect delays to continue until the backlog has been alleviated and normal speeds can be resumed over the affected area.

Should the line remain closed past tonight or the situation worsens, we will send out another update on the network tomorrow.

If you have questions related to the flooding or your shipments, please don’t hesitate to contact KCSR Customer Solutions team for assistance who will be monitoring the situation and can provide additional information specific to your shipment.

Thank you for being a loyal customer.
