Pabtex Bulk Commodity Handling Facility

Operated by KCSR and Savage Gulf Services Ltd., L.L.P., Pabtex, L.P., is a major bulk commodity handling facility, specializing in exporting petroleum coke and coal, which it receives by train and truck and transfers to ship for transport to final destination.

Pabtex, L.P. can handle petroleum coke, coal, aggregates and pig iron on 29 acres of outside storage with capacity for 500,000 tons and 117 rail cars.  Other amenities include a rapid discharge bottom dump railcar unloading system, ship loader, stacker/reclaimer, 47 water sprinklers, lighting, fence and security patrol.
