The leadership of KCS’ U.S. transportation group has been re-organized as follows:

• David Carroll is now assistant vice president transportation for the Southwest Division and is based in Shreveport and The Woodlands, Texas.  Previously, he was over the Southeast Division.

• Mike Curry is now assistant vice president transportation for the Midwest Division and is based at Knoche Yard in Kansas City, Mo.  Previously, he was over the Network Operations Center at corporate headquarters in Kansas City.

• Chad Devenney is now assistant vice president transportation for the Network Operations Center.  Previously, he was over the Midwest Division.

• Steve Truitt is now superintendent of the Shreveport Terminal.  Previously, he was over the Southwest Division.

“Regularly rotating our leadership strengthens the skill set of our network and field transportation team,” said vice president transportation Mark Redd.  “In each area, our leaders are managing a unique set of opportunities and challenges.  By doing so, their expertise is growing and everyone can see how each segment has to work together for the good of the greater network.”
