REAL ESTATE
The KCS Real Estate team is responsible for the acquisition, sale,
lease and management of the company’s real estate, as well as the administration
of related contracts and deeds.
Generally, this includes property management; code enforcement issues; document
requests (e.g. lease assignments, termination requests, etc.); billboards/signboards;
oil, gas and mineral rights matters; private crossings; property access; and lease
billing questions.

ENGINEERING
The KCS Engineering team is responsible for the maintenance of
the railroad right of way, as well as the design, project management and construction
of new main line, spur or siding track.
Utilities or other external parties interested in building over or digging under
the railroad right of way must contact KCS to acquire appropriate authority.
