Mexico is one of the world’s premier locations for advanced manufacturing and the appliance industry is no exception.
As major appliance manufacturers shift production to Mexico, no other railroad is better positioned to provide raw materials from the U.S., Mexico and Asia. The KCS network serves the developing manufacturing hubs in central Mexico, providing KCS direct access to 13 appliance plants. KCS also serves the Port of Lazaro Cardenas to support the import and export of appliances.
