EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is an exchange of data between computer systems using a standardized format. EDI offers the opportunity to reduce the costs with less manual work and a more efficient way to communicate data.

KCS does not maintain a direct connection with our trading partners and require a connection via Value Added Network (VAN).

KCS uses Railinc as the preferred VAN.
