Ms. Adamiak is vice president sales and marketing for the energy business unit, short line relations and industrial development and innovation. Headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, KCS is a transportation holding company that has railroad investments in the U.S., Mexico and Panama. KCS’ North American rail holdings and strategic alliances are primary components of a railway network, linking the commercial and industrial centers of the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
Ms. Adamiak has 30 years of experience in sales and marketing, banking, treasury, investor relations, structured financing, leasing and market analysis, including over 20 years of rail industry experience. She joined the company in 2006 as director investor relations. She was promoted to assistant vice president marketing in 2011 and assistant vice president finance in 2015. Prior to joining KCS, she spent nine years with GATX Corporation. She has also held financial positions with Household International and Continental Bank.
In her role as vice president energy, Ginger will serve as a member of the Rail Energy Transportation Advisory Committee for the U.S. Surface Transportation Board and the Rail Industry Working Group for the Association of American Railroads.
Ms. Adamiak holds a master of business administration in finance and economics from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
