Code of Conduct
KCS and its subsidiaries require that the company's business be conducted in accordance with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. In that regard, all directors, officers and employees are expected to observe the company's Codes of Business Conduct and Ethics in the performance of their duties, including in the procurement of goods and services from suppliers.
The Codes demonstrate KCS' commitment to ethical behavior and provide its employees with clear expectations regarding ethical decision-making. The Codes are available in English and Spanish and may be downloaded to share with your organization as appropriate.
If you believe any KCS employee has violated the letter or the spirit of the Codes or have otherwise engaged in any improper or potentially improper business practices, please notify the Company as soon as possible. Reports can be made by calling the Speak Up! line in the U.S. at 1-800-727-2615 or Linea de Denuncias in Mexico at 01-800-436-0158. These report lines are managed by a third party. Callers may elect to remain anonymous.
In addition, the company has certain expectations for its suppliers regarding ethical conduct. Many of these expectations may be incorporated in various contracts and other agreements between KCS and your company. Regardless, KCS expects its suppliers to conduct themselves in an honest and ethical manner, including adhering to the standards set forth in the KCS Supplier Expectations. The KCS Supplier Expectations do not amend or change any obligations or terms in any contract between KCS and any Supplier. Disregard of these KCS Supplier Expectations can lead to remedial action, including supplier disqualification.
