Vice President Sales & Marketing Energy and Chemical Products
Ms. Adamiak is vice president sales and marketing for the energy and chemical and petroleum business units, and industrial development and commercial innovation.
Ms. Adamiak has over 35 years of experience in sales and marketing, banking, treasury, investor relations, structured financing, leasing and market analysis, including over 25 years of rail industry experience. She joined the company in 2006 as director investor relations. She was promoted to assistant vice president marketing in 2011 and assistant vice president finance in 2015. Prior to joining KCS, she spent nine years with GATX Corporation. She has also held financial positions with Household International and Continental Bank.
In her role as vice president energy, Ginger will serve as a member of the Rail Energy Transportation Advisory Committee for the U.S. Surface Transportation Board.
Ms. Adamiak holds a master of business administration in finance and economics from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Ginger is fluent in Spanish and English.
Vice President Sales & Marketing Agriculture
Mike is responsible for the agriculture and minerals business unit in the U.S. and coordinates closely with the sales and marketing team at KCS’ Mexican subsidiary. He joined KCS in 1992 and was promoted to Vice President in 2004.
Mike serves as vice chairman of the Surface Transportation Board’s National Grain Car Council and President of the National Grain and Feed Association’s Arbitration Appeals Committee.
He holds a bachelor's degree in management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Vice President Sales & Marketing Business Development and Customer Service
David Eaton is vice president sales and marketing business development and customer service for Kansas City Southern and is responsible for customer solutions, business implementation, market & business intelligence, marketing for the U.S. and Mexico and nearshoring business development opportunities in Mexico.
Mr. Eaton joined KCSM in 2005 and has served in several capacities including Corporate Affairs, Operations and Sales and Marketing.
David holds Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona and a Masters’ degree in commercial law from the Technological Institute of Monterrey (ITESM).
David is fluent in English and Spanish.
Vice President Sales & Marketing Automotive and Intermodal
Rodrigo Flores is vice president sales and marketing automotive and intermodal for Kansas City Southern.
Rodrigo joined KCS in 1997 starting in the KCS subsidiary in Mexico (KCSM) as a manager in external reporting. He then joined KCSM’s Treasury department as director in 2000 where he served until 2006 when he accepted a position as assistant vice president and assistant treasurer in the KCS headquarters office in Kansas City. Rodrigo transitioned from treasury and into sales & marketing as assistant vice president of the automotive business unit where he has served since 2016 until being promoted to vice president of automotive in September 2019 and ultimately to his current position of vice president of automotive and intermodal in September 2020.
Rodrigo has over 25 years of transportation experience complemented by a senior auditor position with Price Waterhouse in Mexico City prior.
Rodrigo holds a bachelor in accounting from the Banking and Commerce School (Escuela Bancaria y Comercial/ EBC) and studied business administration from the Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México - ITAM).
Rodrigo is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Yesica Gloria Marrufo
Vice President Sales and Marketing Industrial and Consumer / Carload
Yesica Gloria Marrufo is Vice President, Industrial and Consumer for the carload business.
Yesica was promoted to her current position in May of 2019, where she is responsible for the Industrial and Consumer business for both KCSM in Mexico and KCSR in the US. Prior to this, since 2008, she served as assistant vice president for the Carload Sales team in Mexico. In this role, she was responsible for leading sales for the metals, industrial, forest products, chemicals, and petroleum products industries. Ms. Gloria was instrumental in introducing the benefits of rail to the major steel producers in Mexico. Ms. Gloria joined KCSM in 1997.
She holds a Bachelor of International Studies and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the UDEM (University of Monterrey), located in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She has also attended Leadership and Management in a Global Economy (2012) and Harvard Extension Business School at the UDEM.
