Our Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy applies to all KCS operations in the United States while the Política de Prevención de Riesgos Psicosociales, de Violencia Laboral y de Promoción de un Entorno Organizacional Favorable Policy applies to all KCS operations in Mexico. These policies prohibit workplace discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, marital status, pregnancy status, citizenship status, genetic information, military or veteran status, or any status protected by law. Our Anti-Retaliation Policy (U.S.) and Política Modelo de Equidad y Género (Mexico) protect employees from retaliation for reporting harassment, discrimination, or safety concerns, among other matters.

Diversity and Inclusion training is now a requirement for new and existing employees.
Our CEO has spearheaded virtual workshops with small focus groups for employees to share their views on workplace inclusion and opportunity at KCS and allow for real and engaging dialogue. A Workplace Inclusion Steering Committee was developed and tasked with facilitating efforts to ensure KCS continues to become an even more inclusive place to work and lead efforts to engage in external and community activities with diversity and inclusion in mind.
