KCS Grain and Grain Product Fuel Surcharge for October 2021

The mileage based fuel surcharge for KCS for the month of October 2021 will be $0.31 per mile based on the average August 2021 HDF published by the Department of Energy.

For commodities that do not apply to the January 2007 STB Ruling on regulated traffic which was formerly called the Grain & Grain Product Fuel Surcharge, there will be 6.0% fuel surcharge for the month of October 2021 based on the average August 2021 WTI prices published in the Wall Street Journal.

As a reminder, the mileage based fuel surcharge for KCS for the month of September 2021 is $0.30 per mile and the fuel surcharge formerly called Grain & Grain Product Fuel Surcharge is 8.0% for the month of September 2021.
