KCS Grain and Grain Product Fuel Surcharge for September 2022

The mileage based fuel surcharge for KCS for the month of September 2022 will be $0.84 per mile based on the average July 2022 HDF published by the Department of Energy.

For commodities that do not apply to the January 2007 STB Ruling on regulated traffic which was formerly called the Grain & Grain Product Fuel Surcharge, there will be 18.8% fuel surcharge for the month of September 2022 based on the average July 2022 WTI prices published in the Wall Street Journal.

As a reminder, the mileage based fuel surcharge for KCS for the month of August 2022 is $0.91 per mile and the fuel surcharge formerly called Grain & Grain Product Fuel Surcharge is 24.8% for the month of August 2022.
