KCS Appoints Anastasia Austin Vice President Revenue and Yield Management

Kansas City, Mo., October 14, 2019. Kansas City Southern (KCS) (NYSE:KSU) today announced the promotion of Anastasia Austin from assistant vice president to vice president revenue and yield management.

“Anastasia is immensely talented and a great communicator. She has developed important insights into our business through her roles both in and outside of Finance,” said KCS vice president financial services Brent M. Vander Ark. “Her experience positions her very well to be influential and effective in this expanded role.”

Since 2017, Ms. Austin has served as assistant vice president revenue and yield management, supporting KCS’ Marketing group on customer pricing and revenue management. She joined the company in 2008 and has held a variety of accounting, finance and operational support roles, including leading the team responsible for providing all aspects of financial decision support services to the company’s operations groups. Prior to KCS, she spent five years in internal audit roles in the financial services and telecommunication industries.

Ms. Austin holds master of business administration - finance, master of science in accounting and bachelor of business administration degrees from the University of Missouri Kansas City. She is a certified public accountant, certified internal auditor and certified information systems auditor. In 2017, she was named to Railway Age magazine’s Top 10 Under 40 Fast Trackers list.
