Embargo placed for intermodal freight from NS’ Croxton, NJ and Rutherford, PA facilities to KCS’ Wylie, TX intermodal facility

Due to the ongoing situation in the supply chain network, including chassis shortages that are affecting our intermodal facility at Wylie, TX, effective 00:01 EST, Friday, January 14th, 2022, KCS has placed an embargo for all intermodal freight from both the NS’ Croxton, NJ, and Rutherford, PA, facilities destined for KCS’ Wylie, TX, intermodal facility.  

We will continue monitoring the situation and will communicate when we are able to lift the embargo to resume traffic from these two NS intermodal facilities to Wylie again.
